Part 3 of the Pilgrimage takes us to the ancient pilgrimage site and ancestral home of Washuma, Chavin de Huantar.
Chavín de Huantar is an ancient archaeological site located in the highlands of Peru. It was a major religious and political center of the Chavín culture, which flourished between 900 and 200 BCE. The site is known for its impressive architecture, including the Chavín temple, which features intricate carvings and sculptures of deities, animals, and mythological beings. Chavín de Huantar is also notable for its extensive network of underground passageways and galleries, which were used for Washuma initiations.

The Experience
ARRIVAL
Upon the conclusion of Part 2, we will travel to Cusco for two nights of rest and relaxation after which we will regather for a flight to Lima. Our group bus leaves the Lima Airport at 10pm on the September 26th.
