Pilgrimage Part 1:
Sacred Valley
April 9th - 19th, 2024 &
August 22nd - September 1st, 2024
@ Sacred Valley, Lares, Ausangate
Pilgrimage is when a community ventures out of their homeland to travel to Sacred Sites (wacas) in order to leave offerings to Great Spirit. Pilgrimage traditions are ancient and originate from cultures all over the globe (Meca, Kumbh Mela, Camino de Santiago, etc.). When we pray together as a community, our prayers are sent out to the ethers and we trust that they will land where and when needed. When we pray, we are also training our brain to exist in a state of gratitude, thus raising our vibration and attracting positivity into our lives. Pilgrimage is an opportunity for us to practice prayer and to begin to realign our highest, most grateful, most vibrant Selves.
In Pilgrimage Part 1, we will explore the Sacred Valley and Ausangate Mountain while staying in retreat centers and guest houses. In Part 2, we will hike and camp in tents while circumventing Ausangate Mountain. And finally, in Part 3, we will travel to the temples of Chavin de Huantar in order to pay respects to this ancient washuma pilgrimage site.
Come join us for this epic adventure in the Andes where we will travel to ancient power places, work with powerful plant medicines, hike to extreme heights, marinate in delicious hot springs, experience Peru's incredible culinary traditions, pray together as a community and much, much more.

The Experience
ARRIVAL
Almost all Flight Itineraries to Cusco (Airport Code: CUZ) have an overnight stop in Lima (Airport Code: LIM). If this is the case for you, we recommend staying at Paypurix for its close proximity to the airport, affordable prices, and cleanliness. While many people choose to fly into Cusco the day the cleanse begins, you may like to arrive early to have a couple of days to settle in and explore. If you choose to arrive early, we've put together this travel guide to tell you about things to do, places to stay, and yummy restaurants, Cusco is an amazing city with lots to see and do (don't miss the Cacao Museum!).
We will organize a group shuttle at 2pm on September 8th from the Cusco Airport to our retreat center in the Sacred Valley. If you are unable to make the group shuttle, we will help you organize private transport (costs approximately $40us).
