Shamanic Pilgrimage

A pilgrimage is an ancient practice of traveling long distances in order to leave offerings to the Gods as an expression of gratitude. You do not need to be religious to go on Pilgrimage. You merely need to believe in something bigger than yourself and have the desire to take a moment out of your ordinary life to say "thank you".
In shamanic philosophy, the Spirits are always watching. We walk for hours, days, weeks or even months to the holiest sites on the planet to prostrate before our Great Mother and leave offerings. This demonstration of gratitude is reciprocated with energy. As we give, so to do we receive. Our bodies are left energized and are better able to accomplish our life's purpose.
In Peruvian Shamanism each Master Plant has a specific code. By following these codes, we show reverence to the plant and the plant reciprocates our practice and dedication with teachings or gifts us with special powers. While the code of Ayahuasca is the practice of Dieta, the code of Washuma (San Pedro cactus) is the practice of Pilgrimage. For this reason, while on Pilgrimage in Peru, we have the option to work daily with Washuma.
Shamanic Pilgrimage is an extremely powerful and joy-full experience. We travel to holy sites as a community, we sing, dance and pray as a community and we prostrate before the spirits of the mountains and leave our offerings, as a community. If you're interested in joining us on a Shamanic Pilgrimage, we've posted the dates below.
