Rikchari:
A 12-week Microdosing Experience to cultivate greater Health and Well Being
Microdosing is a quickly growing practice in the psychedelic community and for good reason: While we may not have time or resources to invest in ceremonial or therapeutic sessions, microdosing is a way to begin to develop a relationship with a plant medicine that can fit easily into our lives. In addition, the scientific and psychedelic communities are finding benefits from this gentle practice without the risks associated with bigger journeys.
However, since microdosing is a very subtle approach, if our journey is unguided then many of the benefits may not be realized. For this reason, we have developed Rikchari: a 12-week program held in a safe container where your questions and doubts are addressed and your experience is intentionally and thougtfully integrated into your life. This approach ensures that your experience will result in long term shifts and changes for the betterment of your health and well being. |

Rikchari is a Quechua word calling on us to WAKE UP!
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Our Approach to Microdosing
Microdosing is when we work with very small dose of psychotropic plants, so small that the mind altering effect isn't felt. Instead, the shifts and changes that are happening in our bodies are occurring on a subtle level that requires us to be subtle of mind in order to be perceived. Many studies have been done attempting to assess the physical benefits of this approach, often times with much success. Our course, however, focuses instead on intention, relationship and creativity.
Intention
Why do you want to work with plant medicines? What changes would you like to make in your life? What are you ready to let go of? What would you like to manifest into being? What shifts and changes are needed in order to bring your manifestation into creation? If we enter into relationship with a Spirit Plant without taking our time to bring light to our intentions, than we're not putting our best foot forward. In Rikchari, you will be coached and guided into finding crystal clarity in your intention, which will permeate and guide your entire experience.
Relationship
Plant Medicines are not merely a plant, nor merely a medicine, they are a Spirit. When we ingest the plant we are inviting a Spirit into our body. This is an extremely intimate experience that requires us to put our best selves forward. Just as when going out on a first date, we make sure to bathe, dress well, put on perfume, etc., while working with Medicine we need to cleanse our body, be clear in our intentions, and present ourselves to Spirit with patience and understanding that relationships take time to build and develop. The plants with which we will be working are here to support, help and guide us, but only if we take the time and create the space to be able to listen.
Creativity
While working with medicine the portals to the kingdom of heaven will be opened, if only a crack. It is up to us to sit quietly and be ready for revelation to pour through us. You will be guided in many exercises and creative practices that will help you get out of your own way in order to allow Spirit to be expressed without the judgmental mind convincing you that your expression should look a certain way. It is our creative force that has the power to effect change in our lives and by making these changes, we have the power to change the Universe.

Benefits of Microdosing
With the increased popularity and attention of psychedelics and microdosing, scientists have been investing more time into studying the effects and have found several positive outcomes.

With Which Plants Will We Be Working?
In our opening group call, we will discuss which plants might be a good fit for you. With our guidance, each participant is empowered to choose which plant resonates most strongly for them. In addition, building a relationship with a plant does not inherently mean that the plant must be psychedelic in nature. Therefore we have included non-psychotropic plants and fungi on the list below. This list is not inclusive, it is merely intended as a list of suggestions. You are welcome to study virtually any plant. If you are interested in something that is not on this list, please let us know your intentions.
Psychotropic Plants & Fungi
Non-Psychotropic Plants & Fungi
- Good for creativity: Psilocybin “Magic” Mushrooms
- Good for calming, focus & connection: Washuma “San Pedro Cactus”
- Good for connecting to Spirit Realms: Ayahuasca Vine with or without Chakruna (DMT)
Non-Psychotropic Plants & Fungi
- Calming Nervous System: Chamomile, Valerian, Lavender, Passion Flower, Lemon Balm
- Dream Support: Mugwort, Skullcap, Valerian, Peppermint, Cacao, Blue Lotus
- Medicinal Mushrooms: Chaga, Lion's Maine, Turkey Tail
How Do I Source The Medicine?
A lot of plant medicines are becoming decriminalized and are more and more available around the world (hallelujah!). If you don’t know how or where to find the plant with which you’re interested in working, please reach out to us and we can support you.
Can we work with Pharmaceutical Psychedelics?
No. We hold no negative judgment about compounds like MDMA and LSD. In fact, there is a growing body of scientific evidence that show the incredible benefits of working with them. We, however, focus on whole plant and fungi based medicine and do not feel equipped to hold space for this work. If you are interested in working with these compounds, feel free to reach out as we can refer you to those who are doing beautiful work in this field.

While traveling abroad during University, Coby met a Peruvian healer who shed a new perspective on his path. "Now that you have begun to work within the Spiritual Realm, now that you're devoted to serving this planet", she told him, "you'll never have to concern yourself with material concerns, for the planet is now your ally. The Material Realm will support you on your mission." Coby took this message to heart and has devoted himself to supporting others on their path of awakening ever since. Together, Coby and Ananda founded Pura Vidya, whose mission is to explore and share the art of cleansing in order to quiet the mind so as to live in harmony with our soul's purpose. |
