What to Pack

Days are generally sunny and warm and nights are COLD, but we'll mostly be in doors or around the fire at night. Bring warm clothes, especially a warm base layer like Smart Wool. We'll go to a great artisan market right away where you'll be able to buy beautiful wool panchos, sweaters, hats, gloves, etc., so save your money on heavy wool clothes in the states so we can support the local artisans in Peru. Also bring clothes for yoga (optional) a yoga mat and comfortable clothes to hang out in. You may want to bring a raincoat as there is a chance of rain. Try to buy as little synthetic as possible. Also, make sure all of your toiletries are as non-toxic as possible. Check out the Environmental Working Group's page,
Skin Deep, for toxicity ratings on toiletries. And here's the most important one... make sure you have an unexpired passport!
